Nature of This Service

This is an independent reference site with no official authority. It does not store Presque Isle County booking files, court dockets, MDOC records, VINE records, federal custody files, or immigration records. We cannot confirm anyone's current custody status, order or complete a release, change an official entry, provide legal advice, or file a record request or court document for a visitor.

The service points toward official county, court, corrections, supervision, notification, and public-record channels. It may also connect users with third-party research tools. Information obtained from an outside source remains subject to that source's scope, rules, and update practices.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is permitted only for lawful, respectful use that does not harm people, systems, or other visitors. You agree that you will not:

• violate any local, Michigan, federal, or other applicable law;
• use information to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm a person;
• make employment, housing, lending, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions from site content;
• seek access to accounts, servers, data, or features without authorization;
• deploy bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other automated extraction tools; or
• interfere with availability, security, performance, or another visitor's use.

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Presque Isle County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Our advertising partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use any information obtained here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• decisions to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker;
• tenant selection, housing approval, or lease decisions;
• creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing and eligibility;
• licenses, permits, benefits, or eligibility for a government program; or
• any other decision controlled by the FCRA or related consumer-reporting law.

Nothing displayed here is an official statement from the Presque Isle County Sheriff, a court, MDOC, another corrections agency, or any government office. The Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 through 15.246, governs access to qualifying existing public records held by Michigan public bodies, not the accuracy of content on this private site.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Presque Isle County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or other damages arising from access to, inability to access, reliance on, or use of the site or any linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless a different owner is identified, the site's original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Presque Isle County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, sell, or create derivative works from those materials without prior written permission from the applicable owner.

Revisions to These Conditions

We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. New wording takes effect when it is posted on this page. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Suspension or Loss of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to all or part of the service at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. This right includes action taken to protect users, systems, site availability, or compliance with these terms.

Michigan Law Controls

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning the site or these terms must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction located in Michigan.

If One Provision Is Invalid

If a court finds any provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable or will be separated if adjustment is not possible. Every remaining provision will continue in full force.
