These are historical figures from the Sheriff's 2010 annual report, not current annual totals. They show why a Presque Isle County disappearance can reflect frequent release or transfer activity, but they cannot describe today's jail population.

A paid bond does not by itself show the precise release time. Staff must confirm eligibility, check other holds, and finish the jail process. Another warrant or detainer can prevent a community exit. The court order can explain why release was authorized, while the Sheriff release summary records when county custody actually ended and may name a receiving agency.
Bond is not a final disposition. The criminal case continues unless a later order ends it. Use the 89th District Court record for the bond and preliminary case events, then the 53rd Circuit Court if a felony proceeds there. Ask the jail whether the person was released or transferred before arranging pickup.
Pickup After Presque Isle County Release
The jail publishes mail, communication, commissary, visitation, and bond-kiosk information, but it does not publish a release hour, weekend or holiday schedule, exit door, property-return process, family waiting area, or guaranteed processing interval. Do not infer a pickup time from a court order, an Earliest Release Date, or a bond receipt.

Call the jail first. Once the release time is reasonably known, ask the transit service whether a trip can be scheduled at a safe public pickup point. MDOC corrects supervision facts through the supervising office and updates court facts from the controlling order. A certified order or agency response is stronger than an old search result.

It explicitly excludes county-jail and city-lockup prisoners and people sentenced only to jail. That scope statement belongs with every OTIS result. Phone registration uses a four-digit PIN. When the automated call arrives, listen and enter the PIN followed by the pound sign to acknowledge it. Text and email notices do not use the phone PIN. Broader parole-hearing or decision notices for registered direct victims go through MDOC Crime Victim Services rather than an ordinary public signup.
Federal Checks After Presque Isle County Release
No BOP prison, ICE detention center, or federal detention contract was established in Presque Isle County. Federal and immigration systems are exception checks, not local facility pages.
